The present invention relates to a radiant gas-heating device, particularly for heating premises such as workshops, gymnasia, etc., the said device being suspended from the ceiling of the said premises. It is composed of a casing (11), the lower face of which includes a radiant panel with an emissive surface entirely pointing towards the ground. The said panel is surmounted by an insulation element (13) mounted inside the casing (11) and forms, with the said insulation element (13), a first duct at one end of which the outlet (22) of a burner (20) emerges and the other end of which emerges in the internal volume of the casing (11) not occupied by the said first duct. The said volume forms, above the first duct, a second duct at the end of which the inlet (41) to an extractor (40) is connected. <IMAGE>
