<p>PURPOSE:To provide a thermistor with which preferred resistance-temperature characteristics can be obtained over a wide temperature range and whose usable temperature range is wide and a method for fabricating the thermistor. CONSTITUTION:A thermistor comprises a disc thermistor element and a pair of leads inserted into the element. A main component of the thermistor element is stabilized zirconia wherein 8mol% of yttria (Y2O3) is solved into zirconia (ZrO2) being oxygen ion conductor, while 4mol% of Fe being transition metal is solved into the stabilized zirconia.</p> |
