<p>PURPOSE:To provide a mechanism to judge the ON/OFF state of an equipment power source even in the case a display unit is closed in the portable electronic equipment which freely opens/closes the display unit. CONSTITUTION:This equipment is provided with a base unit (main body of a system) 1 equipped with a keyboard (keyboard unit) 2, flat display unit (LCD unit) 3 freely turnably fitted to the base unit 1 between the closed position covering the keyboard 2 and the opened position revealing the keyboard 2, and display lamp 4 to display the ON/OFF state of the power source on the surface of the equipment when the display unit 3 is set at the closed position.</p> |
