<p>PURPOSE:To transfer information through plural high speed voice channels simultaneously without a delay by utilizing an interconnection bus between an input interface and an output interface (IF) to ensure a transfer route of voice information through bus transfer control between the IFs. CONSTITUTION:A transfer path for voice information from an input interface (IF) 1-1 to an output IF2-5 is set by the operation of a monitor control section 4. Then an STM-1 frame (with an ATM cell thereon to be sent to a pay load part) is inputted to the (IF) 1-1. Then a bus transfer control section (ILC) in the (IF) 1-1 extracts a pay load part from the STM-1 frame and sends the ATM cell therein to an interconnection bus 5. The ATM cell is controlled by the monitor control section 4 and subject to switching control by a switch section 3 and transferred to a destination output IF2-5 Simultaneously, the ILC of the (IF) 1-1 extracts only the voice information from the transmission line management information attended with the main information and adds a header of the destination (IF) 2-5 set previously and sends the result to the interconnection bus 5.</p> |
