<p>PURPOSE:To provide a reflective photointerrupter of a frameless structure and a surface mount type constructed as a case with metal-plated wiring, in which light is kept from leaking from the light-emitting chip to photodetector chip. CONSTITUTION:A photointerrupter includes a case 22 containing an opaque additive. The case houses a light-emitting chip and a photodetector chip separated by a light-shielding wall 15, to the sides of which a metal plating 15' (light shielding plating) is applied. The top of the opening surface side of the case is coated with ink resist 19 for stopping molten resin flow, and the resist contains opaque additive 25.</p> |
