PURPOSE:To provide an interchangeable lens which can quickly temporarily stop a motor by transmitting the operating information of a lens side to a camera main body and prevent a gear from being damaged without increasing wiring and a camera system provided with the interchangeable lens. CONSTITUTION:A coupler 15 which is coupled to the motor 5 on the camera main body 31 side when it is loaded in the main body 31, a coupling switching means which can selectively couple the coupler 15 to first and second lens driving mechanisms 16 and 17, a signal output means 12 which outputs an inhibition signal so as to temporarily stop the driving of the motor 5 in the course of the switching by the coupling switching means, plural electric contacts for transferring the inherent data of the interchangeable lens 32 to the camera main body side and a signal switching means 7 which executes the switching to one among the electric contacts except a term that the data is transferred to the main body 31 side so as to output the inhibition signal from the output means 12 to the main body 31 side are provided. |
