- The invention relates to a control device for a display panel and prism sign. - The subject of the invention is a control device for display panels or prism sign, comprising a plurality of prisms (2) arranged in parallel, side by side and driven in rotation in synchronism from a motor means (5) and by means of an appropriate transmission, characterised in that the transmission consists of a flexible metal cable (9) sliding in a rigid or flexible sheath (10) and equipped externally with elements engaging with the toothing of a plurality of wheels (7, 7a, 7b; 17) arranged along the said sheath facing or in immediate proximity to each of the said prisms (2), each wheel being keyed in rotation on the rotation shaft (3) of the prism, one of the ends of the said cable (9) being linked to the said motor means (5) for control of the prisms and moved by the latter axially, in one direction or the other. - Application to display panels and prism sign. <IMAGE>
