PURPOSE:To realize complementary excitation driving for pulse motor having wide application in which step driving can be performed at arbitrary split number by a constitution wherein end joints connected with positive and negative poles move sequentially to adjacent joints thus switching the exciting pattern. CONSTITUTION:Output stage transistors Tr1-Tr10 are classified into five sets with each set of two transistors connected in series and the five sets are connected in parallel to constitute a driving circuit. Joints of windings A-E are connected with the joints of output state transistors in respective series connected sets. Total current of exciting phases A-E passing through a sense resistor R1 is multiplied by the resistance thereof to produce a sense voltage. The sense voltage is then compared with a reference voltage in order to sustain the total current passing through the exciting phases A-E at a level 2io at all times. According to the constitution, an N-phase pulse motor(N is an odd number of three or more) can be subjected to multiple split driving of two or more. |
