PURPOSE:To difinitely display which words form a clause and a section and which parts are in the relation between modifying and modified parts. CONSTITUTION:A text described in natural language is analyzed and each descriptive unit such as word, clause, section, etc., are hierarchically related with each other (step 21) When one descriptive unit in the text is specified as a noticed descriptive unit (step 22), a different descriptive unit which is related with a host hierarchy of the noticed descriptive unit is extracted (step 24). Then, the extracted descriptive unit and the above-mentioned noticed descriptive unit are displayed in a mode other than with descriptive unit. Thus, proofreading efficiency with regard to an original and a translation is improved. |
