GENERATING DEVICE FOR SENTENCE HAVING SAME MEANING

PURPOSE:To generate the sentence having the same meaning as the inputted sentence by converting proposition syntax form of the inputted sentence into the syntax form corresponding to the selected function representation. CONSTITUTION:A language function proposition understanding part (LP) 11 resolves an inputted sentence into a language function(LF) and a proposition part(PP) in order to decide its syntax form. An output sentence function representation selecting part 12 refers to the relation between LF of a language function representing table storage part (LM) and a function representation(FR), and selects one of FRs other than these in the inputted sentence from FRs belonging to resolved LF part. A proposition syntax form converting means 13 converts the syntax form of PP whose input sentence was decided by referring to the relation between FR of LM 15 and a syntax form of PP into the syntax form corresponding to the selected FR according to a specified proposition syntax form converting rule (PR). PR is stored in a PR storage part 16. An output sentence generating part 14 outputs the sentence of the same meaning as the inputted sentence by utilizing selected FR and converted syntax form.
