PURPOSE:To decide whether or not the printed matter is effective by matching >=2 identical character strings. CONSTITUTION:The character part and background part of >=2 identical character strings printed on the color printed matter are gathered as data of three components of red, green, and blue. They are converted into a binary image by applying linear transformation to color conversion so that the color distance between the character part and background part becomes maximum, and the character strings are extracted according to the binary image. After the extracted character strings are recognized, it is decided whether or not the printed matter is effective according to the matching result of the >=2 identical character strings. |
