PURPOSE:To produce a photosensitive microcapsule with the encapsulated material having a uniform composition and narrow grain diameter distribution. CONSTITUTION:An aq. soln. 3 contg. a halogen halide and an oily soln. 1 contg. a reducing agent, polymerizable compd. and color picture forming substance are continuously passed through a gap between the impeller 5 and stator relatively rotated and emulsified to form an water-in-oil emulsion (W/O). The W/O emulsion is emulsified in an aq. soln. 7 contg. a water-soluble polymer to form an oil-in-water emulsion (W/O/W). A microcapsule wall is then formed on the emulsion droplet to produce a photosensitive microcapsule. |
