<p>PURPOSE:To provide a pointing device simple in structure and suitable to be made thin. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 1 is equipped with various kinds of keys 2-4. And also the keyboard 1 is equipped with a control part 5, and two click buttons 6 and 7. The control part 5 has a collar 14 provided so as to be rotatable in a prescribed direction, and slidable in a prescribed range in a thrust direction along the rotary shaft. A returning power to the prescribed position at the middle part of the prescribed range is always applied to the thrust direction of the collar 14, by a cover 15 with which the rotary shaft is covered. The operating amounts of the thrust direction and the rotating direction of the collar 14 obtained by the operation of the control part 5, are respectively counted by a counter after a signal only at the time of the operation by an operator is identified by a touch sensor. The click buttons 6 and 7 outputs click signals.</p> |
