<p>PURPOSE:To select a sampling period different from a recommended sampling period for an image pickup element for A/D conversion to be the same or a simple integral number ratio. CONSTITUTION:A coefficient table 201a of an orthogonal transformation circuit 20 of a coding circuit 7 records an interpolation matrix decided depending on a recommended sampling period for data recording different from a sampling period the same as or a simple integral number ratio to the sampling period of an image pickup element used for A/D conversion. Then when a photoelectric conversion element matrix is inputted from a memory 6 to the relevant orthogonal transformation circuit 20, the interpolation calculation is implemented by multiplying the relevant interpolation matrix recorded on the coefficient table 201a by using a multiplier 202a.</p> |
