PURPOSE:To obtain the graphic data control method which enables highspeed, efficient drawing processing on a graphic system. CONSTITUTION:Graphic data which are inputted from an input part 10 such as a mouse are decoded by a control part 12 and stored in a specific area of a memory 16 in order by a storage part 14. A sorting part 18 defines tetragons with which respective figures are circumscribed as to the graphic data stored in the memory 16 and finds the coordinate values of the tetragons. The graphic data stored in the memory 16 are sorted and rearranged in the order of the figures which are closer to origin coordinates. Further, the sorting part 18 decides whether the respective registered figures are included entirely or partially in a specified window and sets the result as flag information. When the figures in the specified windows are drawn, data on the registered figures are supplied from the memory 16 to a drawing part 20 in the order of the figures which are closer to the origin coordinates and the drawing part 20 performs drawing immediately as to the received graphic data. |
