PURPOSE:To obtain a focus appropriate for a person by detecting the skin- colored part of the person and finding a range. CONSTITUTION:A chrominance signal inputted from an image is converted into digital signals through A/D converters 31 to 33, the digital signals are inputted to a memory 34, a read skin-colored area signal is detected by a human detecting microcomputer 35, and an exposure level signal is formed by a screen dividing circuit 41 and sent to a control microcomputer 21. On the other hand, the microcomputer 35 executes individual extracting processing and judges a human based upon an extracted outline in accordance with the data read out from the memory 34. The microcomputer 21 controls a lens driving part 22 so that the area of the skin-colored part in the judged human part is fixed. Thereby the human can be focused independently of his position and human's size can be constantly controlled. |
