The tray comprising, starting from a single blank, a bottom panel A, two side panels C, two frontal panels B and triangular corner panels D located between the adjacent frontal and side panels and having a central folding line 8, is characterised in that: each side panel C and each frontal panel B are divided into two halves by a central folding line 13, 17 which is divided into two in order to form a flat surface 16, 20 intended to form the upper edge of these panels; a side panel C has a protruding flap G, comprising at its free end a wing I limited by a folding line 10, the width of this flap, measured from the side panel to the folding line of the wing, corresponding to the width of the bottom panel A so that this flap is superimposed on the bottom; and each frontal panel B comprises an end wing H delimited by a transverse folding line 9 and intended to be inserted between the flap of the side panel and the bottom panel when the latter are superimposed. <IMAGE>
