<p>PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of data abortion and spreading of congestion onto entire network by devising the packet exchange system to absorb an overflow of data in a node with respect to the packet exchange system applied to a system in which a data is transferred in a packet form such as a broad band ISDN, an ATM network and a frame relay. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with a packet exchange switch 1, a line control section 3 connecting each lien 2 and the packet exchange switch 1 and a user equipment 4 sending a transfer message, transfers a data in a packet form and exchange connection is implemented in the packet exchange network by using a VC of a VCI. Then the system is also provided with a routing control means 6 controlling routing in the packet exchange network with respect to a packet of a transfer message from the user equipment 4 and with a buffer 7 storing tentatively a packet not subjected to routing by the routing control means 6.</p> |
