PURPOSE:To provide a drawing management device capable of quickly retrieving and obtaining a desired drawing and referring to various data associated with the retrieved drawing at the same time. CONSTITUTION:An index file consisting of a list listing the bibliographic information of the drawing such as drawing numbers and item names, a reference file containing the information related to the drawing in the index file, a storage part 1 storing the index file and the reference file, a control part 2 reading the index file and reference file out of the storage part 1, and an output part 3 outputting the information read out in the control part 2, are provided. The control part 2 first reads out the index file, displays the list, and when the reference file is registered in the list, reads out and displays the reference file, and furthermore when the arbitrary number of reference files are hierarchically registered in the file, hierarchically deepens the reference files in order to read out the required information. |
