PURPOSE:To provide a controller for motor vehicle wherein power supply is not interrupted immediately upon function of a protective circuit in the controller but interrupted with a time margin so that a motor is not brought immediately into current decreasing state but is retreated to a safety region and then emergency brake is applied on the motor. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration voltage Va from an acceleration voltage generator and an output of a triangular wave generator OS are fed to a comparator IC 1 which then produces a PWM signal for feeding a current through a bridge circuit to a motor thus driving or reversing a motor vehicle. A voltage induced in a shunt resistor Rs is fed through a comparator IC 2 back to the output side of the comparator IC 1 generating the PWM signal thus limiting the current of the motor. When the voltage V0, generated in a detecting resistor r0 connected with a temperature sensitive element Th due to temperature rise of the heat sink of FET Q1-Q4, exceeds a predetermined level V1, a comparator IC 3 actuates a buzzer Bz. |
