PURPOSE:To provide the optical fiber array terminal unit which can narrow an arrangement interval of an optical fiber array. CONSTITUTION:In a recessed part of a recessed mold metal fixing member 1 provided with an optical fiber array through-hole 2, an alignment groove member 4 is fixed to one wall side, and an optical fiber array 3 is inserted. The alignment direction of each optical fiber of the optical fiber array 3 becomes vertical to the opening surface of a recessed mold, and the opticalfiber end face is provided in an alignment groove in the opening direction. Plural optical fiber array terminal units A, B are arranged so as to be opposed to the end face of an optical waveguide, it does not occur that a side wall of a metal fixing member 13 is inserted into the middle of the optical fiber array 3, and the alignment groove is placed closely. |
