PURPOSE:To manufacture excellent flat type battery by punching a battery from the positive electrode side to finish a positive electrode terminal board so as to have a projection having a specified dimension and specified shape, and performing the punching at a cross section line, and dislocating the cross section line for cutting by an outer dimension of a negative electrode terminal board. CONSTITUTION:In the case of punching of a battery from the positive electrode side, punching is performed to parts except for a projection 6a, and a positive electrode terminal board is finished to a positive electrode terminal board 21 having a projection 1a having a specific dimension and specific shape. Namely, the positive electrode terminal board is separated to the positive electrode terminal board 21 having the projection 1a and a pull-down part 1f by the punching. Punching of outline by press is performed at a part of a cross section line 50. In this case, unnecessary part of an extrusion part 40 of the seal material is pulled down by the punching, and while outline dimension of the battery is finished to the specified dimension 1. Position of the cross section line 50 is dislocated for cutting by the outline dimension 1 of the negative electrode terminal board 6 to prevent generation of short circuit of the battery to be caused by burr. |
