PURPOSE:To provide an illumination apparatus which can illuminate correspond ing to the condition of the atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:For a stand, a supporting pole 2 is set to stand in a disk-like base stand part 1 and an illumination part main body 3 is installed in the tip part of the supporting pole 2. A straight tube-type fluorescent lamp 5 is built in a cylindrical light controlling body 4 along the longitudinal direction and a plurality of incandescent lamps 6 as auxiliary illuminating parts are set along the fluorescent lamp 5 to give the illumination part main body 3. A changing switch 7 is installed in the base stand part 1. The illumination object plane is illuminated mainly by the fluorescent lamp 5 and by detecting the luminance of the surrounding, the output of the incandescent lamps 6 is automatically changed. In the case that the surrounding is dark, the fluorescent lamp 5 is turned on and at the same time the incandescent lamps 6 are turned on to make the surrounding light and make the eye fatigue is lessened. In the case that the surrounding is bright, the incandescent lamps 6 are turned off and the fluorescent lamp 5 is turned on for only the necessary illumination object plane to save electric power. |
