<p>PURPOSE:To surely prevent snow accretion on power line by installing snow acceretion reducing rings on a stranded conductor at predetermined intervals and molding a resin to a shape of an extended thin wall cylinder at both the sides of each main ring body thereby forming them in one united body in each ring assembly. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of snow accretion reducing rings 4 are inserted and attached to a stranded conductor 1 in the longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals. Outside diameter P of the main body part 5 of the snow accretion reducing ring 4 is 1.2 to 1.5D for the outside diameter D of the stranded conductor 1, and its width Q is made to 0.8D to 1.0D. Outside diameter R of a thin wall cylinder part 6 on both sides of the main body part 5 is made to 1.01 to 1.2D, and the width S is set to 0.1 to 0.3D. A resin is poured in a metal mold, and the main body part 5 and the thin wall cylinder part 6 are molded as one united body. By doing this, the occurrence of burr can be prevented, the end faces of ring 4 can be formed normally to the axis line of the stranded conductor 1 thereby definitely preventing the accretion of snow.</p> |
