PURPOSE:To reduce a quiescent period of the input current irrespective of conditions to be controlled in inverter equipment provided with a circuit improving the input power factor by energizing the input current from an ac power supply through an impedance element, inverter element and switching element. CONSTITUTION:The voltage V3 of a capacitor C3 for DC component cutting is lowered by controlling duties of transformers Q1 and Q2. Or, the amplitude of the voltage V2 of the load F is increased by controlling the switching frequency. Or, the resonance condition of a circuit is strengthened. According to the constitution, the input power factor is increased, and higher harmonic components of the input current Iin can be reduced. |
