The band saw consists of a base,onto which is mounted the saw unit with idler wheels etc. (6,7). A material feed and support is attached (4,5) to the base. The saw unit is angularly adjustable and fixable via a track and wheel (32,33). The adjustable head allows the saw to be used to cut slanted faces. ADVANTAGE - The saw can produce a better finish,whilst also being able to cut completely through a workpiece.
