The device has a housing (2) with an opening closed by a cover (3). The cover (3) swings to the open position about a pin (4) which engages a slot (7) in the cover. The cover is held in the closed position by a claw (5) which engages a notch (6) in the housing (2). The claw is held in the notch by a spring (11) with one arm attached to the cover and the other arm attached to the spindle (9) of a roller (10) mounted in a slot (8) in the cover. The cover (3) can be pressed upwards against the spring so that the claw (5) is lifted out of the notch (6). The cover is then slid clear of the notch and swung to the open position.
