Purification of an aq. H2O2 soln. is effected by first cooling the soln. to a temp. between 0 deg.C and the freezing pt. of the soln., then passing the soln. through a mass of anionic resin particles, having a matrix made of styrene-divinylbenzene polymers, of mean strength and in basic form, followed by cooling the resin and the aq. soln. passing through it so that the temp. of the effluent soln. from the resin mass remains the same as the temp. of the soln. introduced into the mass itself, the process being effected continuously until the resin is spent. The H2O2 soln. is cooled to a temp. pref. below -8 deg.C. The resin has a macromolecular matrix and comprises aliphatic tert. amino fractions. The H2O2 soln. is free from cations.
