The two bulbs (7,8) are each mounted over reflectors (5,6) and have their sockets linked by cables (17) and with contact tags to contact the tags on the clip fitting rocker switch (14) which is clipped into a recess in the housing. The 12V bulbs are connected to the truck 24V supply and each provide 5W of lighting. The total current drain on the battery is less than 0.2A compared with up to 1.5A for conventional 24V incandescent bulbs.
