A plug section for a cable starter in a combustion engine, includes a sleeve shaped section. The plug surrounds the cable without any play, and has a lateral member which passes through the cable. The lateral member is pref. perpenducular to the cable axis. The arrangement is pref. formed by a process which includes placing the cable in an injection mould and injecting a plastic. ADVANTAGE - The plug section is applied without damaging the cable fibres.
