1-Phenyl-3-phenyloxadiazolyl -urea derivs. of formula (I) are new. In (I), R1 and R2 = H, halo, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio (all 3 opt. halo substd.) or opt. substd. aryloxy; or together is opt. substd. alkylene whcih is interrupted by 1 or 2 O atoms or bonded via 1 or 2 O atoms to the phenyl ring; R3 and R4 = H, halo, alkoxy or alkyl (both opt. halo substd.); R5 = opt. substd. cycloalkyl; X = O or S. also new are the intermediates of fomrulae (VI) and (VII): A = NH2 or NCX; R6 = 2,2-difluoro-1-methyl cycloprop-1-yl or (i); Y = H, Me, F or Cl; Y1 and Y2 = F or Cl. R1 and R2 = H, F or Cl; R3 = R4 = H; and R5 = 2-chloro-2,3,3 -trifluorocyclobutyl (opt. 1-methyl substd.) or 2,2,3,3-tetrafluorocyclobutyl.
