PURPOSE:To provide a catalyst for purifying waste gas containing nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbons. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst for waste gas purification is prepared by growing a crystalline silicate on the surface of a mother crystal of a previously synthesized crystalline silicate composed of Si and O while having the same crystal structure as the mother crystal and it contains at least one of metals belonging to Ib-group and VIII-group in a layered composite crystalline silicate having a specific x-ray diffraction pattern. |
