PURPOSE:To improve the acceleration/deceleration response of a leveler in a coil feeder where loop control is performed in the feed path between a leveler for smoothing a coil material and a feeder, by providing a loop controller in the feed path between a pinch roll and the leveler. CONSTITUTION:An uncoiler 20 is journaled rotatably on a frame 10 where the coil member 30 rewinded from the uncoiler 20 is fed through a pinch roll 40, a loop controller 70, a leveler 50, a feeder 60, etc. to a press. The pinch roll 40 is constructed with an engine roll 41 to be driven by a motor 43 through transmission means and a driven roll 42 to be moved up/down by a cylinder 48 which is pressure contacted against said roll 41 through the coil member 30. The loop controller 70 is provided with semi-circular longest and shortest feeding guides 71, 72 to perform acceleration/deceleration control of motor 43 with correspondence to the blocking condition of an optical path between the light emitting sections L1, L2 and the light receiving sections T1, T2. |
