PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent staple fiber free from toxicity to human body, having extremely high safety and antibacterial, antifungal and deodorizing properties and capable of suitably using as a raw material for general-purpose clothing material, medical sanitary material, life-related material and sleeping material. CONSTITUTION:An organic acid salt of deacetylated product of chitin is attached to a conjugate staple fiber having <=5 denier single fiber fineness. The conjugate staple fiber is composed of a fiber-forming thermoplastic polymer such as polyester, polyolefin or polyamide. |
