SPECIFIC CLOTH AND CLOTHING USING THE SAME CLOTH

PURPOSE:To obtain the new title cloth consisting of a specific structure obtained by piling up many narrow tape-like materials in multi-stages, capable of blocking sunlight and suitable as a raw material for clothing which is cool and comfortable even in summer because of excellent air permeability and fashionable clothing. CONSTITUTION:A specific cloth having a superimposed structure obtained by piling up many narrow tape-like materials in multi-stages, linking the structure at an incline of >=5 deg. to the superimposed structure by linking yarn, forming a web structure between these linking yarns and further having an opening between superimposed narrow tape-like materials. The cloth is e.g. obtained by winding around a rotating drum the narrow tape-like material in which a water soluble sizing agent is impregnated while successively sliding the position in prescribed superimposed width and drying the tape-like material and then taking the tape-like material off from a rotating drum to afford a sheet having superimposed structure fixed with paste and then sewing the sheet by a machine to mutually sew the tape-like materials having superimposed structure together.
