PURPOSE:To put a label continuously and smoothly by a method wherein commodity information, which is printed on a plurality of labels to be put on one commodity, is stored as printing information for each label, and when it is detected that a label is removed, the printing information is printed on labels orderly. CONSTITUTION:A ROM 12 and RAM 13 are connected to a CPU 11 through s system bus 14, and at the same time, a printing unit 19, key input unit 20, display unit 21 and label detector 5 are respectively connected to the CPU 11 in the same manner through I/F 15-18, and a printing buffer 22 is also connected. When a part number is designated by the key input unit 20, a PLU file 13a is retrieved by this part number designation, and an image data for a price label is drawn on a first area of the printing buffer 22. Also, an additive file 13b is retrieved by an additive code which is registered on the commodity information. In addition, an image data for an additive label is drawn in a second area of the printing buffer 22 by additive information of the additive code. |
