PRODUCTION OF FEED RAW MATERIAL BY MICROORGANISM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title feed raw material having high efficiency by charging refuse discarded in a palm oil process into cultured mixture of a microorganism to carry out decomposition of palm oil and fat and further neutralizing the resultant fatty acid with calcium hydroxide. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism capable of producing a lipase which is a fat-decomposing enzyme are cultured and palm oil squeezed refuse to be used for a substrate is charged into the resultant cultured mixture and the refuse is brought into contact with the microorganism to carry out lipase decomposition of the above-mentioned palm oil and fat. Then calcium hydroxide is added to a fatty acid obtained by the decomposition and the fatty acid is neutralized thereby to form calcium salt thereof and further the calcium salt is dried by a dryer and powdered to provide the objective raw material useful as a feed additive.
