PURPOSE:To obtain a long heating time to packing material in a bag making and packing machine without lowering working efficiency. CONSTITUTION:When a piston rod 55 is stroked by an air cylinder 54, a lever 53 moves to cause not only a gear 51 but also a pinion 50 which engages with the gear 51 to reverse revolution. This reversed revolution of the pinion 50 is transmitted to a transmission shaft 45, so that a bell crank 46 is made to revolve, whereby an upper and a lower sealing bar 36 and 37 is made to approach and separate from each other through a link 48. On the other hand, by a revolution of a cam 14 on the other side, another lever 15 is made to swing, whereby a block 12 provided with the sealing bars 36 and 37 is made to reciprocate in the same direction as a packing material along a guide bar 11. As a result, return speed of the block 12 can be increased by the cam 14, and therefore, a moving time can be prolonged accordingly. |
