PURPOSE:To uniformly and efficiently apply heat treatment to a preform after the irradiation of the preform with electron beam. CONSTITUTION:A heating apparatus constituted so that preforms 4 is externally fitted to the chain pins 7 provided to an endlessly rotating feed chain at a definite interval to be passed through a heating oven 1 is equipped with a preform supply device 2 consisting of a star wheel 14 capable of radially holding a plurality of the preforms 4 at a predetermined interval and the fixed guide 15 covering the outer periphery of the star wheel 14 so as to hold the preforms 4 and making each of the preforms 4 possible to fall under its own wt. only at the lowermost end of the star wheel 14.
