PURPOSE:To provide the subject device capable of being readily maintained, having high durability to outer environments and useful for monitoring the growth of a plant without damaging the cells of the plant, by attaching a metal electrode to the plant, the metal electrode being produced by molding a conductive paste with a resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective device is characterized by molding a metal electrode 3 and a conductive paste with a resin or by embedding the metal electrode 3 in a KC1 solution coagulated by agar, the potential sensing section of the sensing device being attached to the stem 1 of the plant. |
