PURPOSE:To provide the title derivative increased in the resistance to various kinds of protease, raised in the activity persistence in the blood, to be used for therapeutic agents such as for osteopathy, consisting of a peptide (salt) obtained by replacing specific sites of human parathyroid hormone with other amino acids. CONSTITUTION:With peptide's solid phase synthesis, using as carrier e.g. p- oxymethylphenyl acetamide methyl resin, protecting amino acids are sequentially bound to this resin, and the resulting resin is treated with e.g. hydrogen fluoride to eliminate the peptide and the protecting groups from the resin followed by purification with column chromatography, thus giving the objective derivative of the formula (R1 is Ser, etc.; R2 is Met, etc.; R3 is Len, etc.; R4 is Gly, etc.; R5 is Lys, etc.; R5 is Met, etc.; R7 is Glu, etc. ; R8 is Val, etc. ; R9 is Trp, etc. ; R10 is Arg, etc.; R11 is Lya, etc.; R12 is Lys, etc.; R13 is Phe, etc.) where the amino acids in human parathyroid hormone PTH have been partially replaced by other amino acids. |
