PURPOSE:To enable the stabilized indication driving by a supply battery of high voltage without making the clock large-sized by controlling the feeding time for driving in accordance with the driving load and the supply voltage through the intermediary of a timer. CONSTITUTION:The load of a torque motor SM for indication of time, etc. is detected and a driving waveform detection circuit 7 generates low-level and high-level detection outputs corresponding to the light and heavy loads, respectively. On the other hand, a battery voltage level detection circuit 8 generates the detection output at either of terminals A-C corresponding to the battery voltage 1. When these detection outputs are impressed on the timer circuit 6b of a variable delay circuit formed of the counter, FF, etc. of a feeding-time controlling circuit 6, the time of closure of a switch circuit 6a is controlled and the feeding time wherein a capacitor 5b of the driving supply circuit 5 is charged is controlled corresponding to the load and the battery voltage. Accordingly, the large load torque can be generated by the power source of high voltage without changing a step motor and the like, while the time indication can be performed by using a lithium cell and the like wherein the internal resistance is large and the reliance of the change of the internal resistance on the temperature is high. |
