PURPOSE:To increase the repeated use number of times of a recording body, in a recording apparatus forming a latent image showing the contact sweepback angle corresponding to heating temp. to the surface of the recording body, by providing the means regenerating the surface of the recording body at the position on the downstream side of a transfer means or at the position between the transfer means and an image removing means. CONSTITUTION:By selectively heating the surface of a recording body 3 in the state brought into contact with a thermal head 4, a latent image 6 showing the contact sweepback angle corresponding to heating temp. is formed to the surface of the recording body 3. The surface of the recording body 3 for forming the latent image is selectively heated corresponding to an image signal and a recording agent (ink) 8 containing a colorant is supplied to the surface of the recording body 3 to be bonded to the latent image to develop the latent image and, thereafter, the recording agent 8a bonded to the surface of the recording body 3 is transferred to a transfer material (recording paper) 9 under the action of a transfer means (transfer roller) 10. In this recording apparatus, a regenerating means 23 consisting of a deteriorated recording layer removing means and a recording layer coating means is provided on the downstream side of the transfer roller 10 in order to regenerate the surface of the recording body 3. |
