PURPOSE:To produce water-in-oil type emulsion fuel with an apparatus of a small size and simple type, at the time of producing said emulsion fuel, by mixing and agitating water and oil in a vessel provided with two kinds of upper and lower agitating vanes to a revolving shaft deviated from the center. CONSTITUTION:A revolving shaft 5 for agitation is provided in a vessel 4, with deviation of its axial center P on the outer side by about 1/4 with respect to the central axis X of the vessel 4. In addition, an ordinary agitating vane 16 is mounted to the upper part of the revolving shaft 5 and a base plate 7 having respectively 4 sheets of agitating vanes 31-34, 21-24 and small holes 8, 8' in two stages of upper and lower is mounted to the lower part. The said lower agitating vanes 21-24 and 31-34 are mounted with inclination of 70 deg. in the rotating direction, and the lower vanes are provided intersecting orthogonally by 45 deg. with respect to the upper stage vanes. Water is supplied from a supply pipe 10 and oil from 11, and the revolving shaft 5 is revolved for about 20min at 500 times/min by a motor 14, whereby the emulsion fuel of water-in-oil type of about 50mu particle sizes is easily produced with the small size apparatus. |
