PURPOSE:To simplify structure and to attract not only toner having a positive polarity but also paper powder and talc having a negative polarity by providing an independent recovering member which recovers a substance to be removed which contacts and sticks to plural cleaning members. CONSTITUTION:A recovering means provided with a scavenging roller 8 functioning as the recovering member, a scraping blade 9 for scraping the substance to be removed sticking to the roller 8, and a recovering screw 10 for feeding the toner scraped by the blade 9 to a recovery bottle is arranged between a 1st brush roller 4 and a 2nd brush roller 5. The scavenging roller 8 is arranged at a position where its peripheral surface contacts with the 1st and the 2nd brush rollers 4 and 5, and rotated counterclockwise by a driving means. Then, alternating electric field is impressed on the roller 8 by an AC power source 11. Therefore, the substance to be removed sticking to the brush rollers 4 and 5 is electrostatically attracted to the roller 8 and scraped by the blade 9. |
