PURPOSE:To control recording sensitivity by having a stage for successively forming an enhancement film, recording film, 1st protective film, and 2nd recording film on a substrate and controlling the thicknesses of the 1st protective film and/or the 2nd protective film. CONSTITUTION:SiO2 formulated as the 1st protective film has an excellent heat radiation characteristic and an acrylic resin used as the 2nd protective film has an excellent heat retaining characteristic. Namely, the SiO2 is excellent in the heat radiation characteristic and is, therefore, liable to radiate heat. The acrylic resin is excellent in the heat retaining characteristic and is, therefore, liable to accumulate heat. The optical disk recording medium controlled in the heat transfer characteristic is, thereupon, obtd. by controlling either or both of the film thickness of the SiO2 and the film thickness of the acrylic resin. The control of the recording sensitivity of the optical recording medium is thus executed while the compsn. and thickness of the recording film are held in tact in the state of allowing the max. characteristics of the recording film itself to be exhibited. |
