PURPOSE:To judge the center operation time of a card company before the communication with a center and to decrease the wasteful communication with a credit transaction processor. CONSTITUTION:By a card reading means 3 built in a credit transaction processor, card company information is read and the center operation time of the equivalent card company is selected out of the center operation time of each card company stored in an external memory to be able to access through a RAM 36 or an external memory interface 39. The center operation time and the time timed by a clock circuit 38 are compared and it is judged whether or not the communication with the center is possible. |
