<p>PURPOSE:To improve operability by enabling the operator of a terminal device to perform the working without caring about power source disconnection time by outputting a power source disconnection instruction signal based on the count value of the number of byte of a transmitting and receiving bucket. CONSTITUTION:The number of byte of a transmitting and receiving bucket between a host system 20 and a terminal device 30 is counted by a bucket byte number counting means 2. This count value is compared with a limit number of byte which is set in a limit byte number storage means 4 by a byte number comparison means 5. When the count value counted by the bucket byte number counting means 2 is large amount, a starting signal 11 is outputted. When a holding means 6 receives the starting signal 11, the means 6 outputs it as a continuous holding signal 12 and when the means 6 receives a restoration signal 13, the means 6 stops the output of the holding signal 12. A timing means 7 outputs a monitoring signal 14 and a restoration signal 13 every fixed time set preliminarily. A monitoring means 8 outputs a power source disconnection instruction signal 15 when the means 8 receives the monitoring signal 14 during the stoppage of the holding signal 12 and a power source disconnection means 9 restores the holding circuit of the power source of the terminal device 30.</p> |
