PURPOSE:To enable the connection between an application program and a natural language processing system by using a thesaurus dictionary and a semantic network as an interface between a natural language processing part and the application program. CONSTITUTION:An interface processing part 2C performs the semantic analysis of the natural language, the conversion into a program code, and the natural language preparation from a program code by inference by referring to the thesaurus dictionary of a long-term storage area 2A and the semantic network of a speech recording arm 2B. Understanding the natural language, the relationship of the natural language to be inputted is analyzed by referring to the thesaurus dictionary, and the vertical relationship of synonyms and concepts between words are obtained as a knowledge expression to be connected with the item of the thesaurus dictionary and the word. Thus, the user customize is enabled for the connection between the natural word processing and the application program, resulting in the natural word processing connected with an application program. |
