PURPOSE:To prepare the character string in running style with a handwritten character string below by converting coordinate data on the handwritten character string according to an optional running frequency value and two kind of running style specification values and constituting and displaying a character string shape. CONSTITUTION:When the optical handwritten character string is inputted, the coordinates of respective points are recorded in lateral and longitudinal coordinate series recording means 311 and 312. When the running frequency value (d) and 1st and 2nd shape specification values (a) and (b) are inputted, coordinate read means 321 and 322 read 1st and next coordinates as X1 and X2, and Y1 and Y2 and record them in coordinate recording means 331 and 332, and 341 and 342. Coordinate calculating means 351 and 352 calculate aX[X1 (or Y1)+X2 (or Y2) ]divided by (a+b) and bX[X1 (or Y1)+X2 (or Y2) ]divided by (a+b) according to the coordinates and coordinate substituting means 361 and 362 substitute the contents of the recording means 311 and 312. Then 2nd and 3rd coordinates are read out and processed similarly. Those processes are repeated until the final coordinate is read out. |
